Ahead of West Bengal Assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Suvendu Adhikari visited Sonachura Trilokeshwar Temple in East Midnapore on March 11.
He offered prayers at the temple.
Bengal Assembly elections will be held in eight phases starting from March 27 with the final round of voting taking place on April 29.
Suvendu Adhikari, the Leader of the Opposition in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, launched a scathing attack on the TMC government and Mamata Banerjee. Adhikari dismissed the viral Sandeshkhali Video, which purportedly showed a BJP worker admitting the party's involvement in the Sandeshkhali incident, as orchestrated. He called for a CBI investigation into the matter. Additionally, Adhikari emphasised his previous victory over Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram and expressed confidence that the people of Bengal would ensure she does not serve as Chief Minister again.
