Telangana polls: Amit Shah calls BRS, AIMIM and Congress as 2G, 3G and 4G parties
Monday, 20 November 2023 () Union home minister Amit Shah, during a rally in Jangaon, referred to opponents in Telangana as dynastic parties. He called KCR-led BRS, AIMIM, and Congress parties as 2G, 3G, and 4G parties respectively. Shah explained that 2G represents KCR and his son KTR, 3G represents Asaduddin Owaisi's party, and 4G represents the Congress party. Shah criticized KCR for not fulfilling promises and accused him of turning Telangana into a hub of corruption. Telangana will hold Assembly elections on November 30.
