Cyclone 'Hamoon' has intensified into a very severe cyclonic storm, and currently lies close to Odisha, West Bengal and Bangladesh, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said in its latest update on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.
The cyclonic storm currently lies about 290 km of Paradip in Odisha, 270 km of Digha in West Bengal, and 230 km south-southwest of Khepupara in Bangladesh.
